Bought Ultimate upgrade on Friday, still haven’t received gems. I know it says “can take up to 72 hours” but geez! I’d like to be able to buy some stuff with my gems BEFORE the weekend is over! I dropped $100 for the upgrade, planning to use my gems to buy some neat stuff from the store. It’s Sunday, and I have no gems and no interest in playing until I can get my new character set up like I want to.

Seriously, though, does it really take this long? My buddy got his gems within two hours of purchase. In this day and age of digital transactions, what could possibly be the hold up?

I agree. I bought HoT Ultimate last night and this is something that should be automated but judging by all the complaints and issues people are having, it isn’t – it’s whenever a support employee feels like issuing you your gems. I’m betting it’ll be Monday afternoon before we weekend purchasers get our gems.

I bought HoT Ultimate 96 hours ago now and still didn’t get my gems. I made a ticket just now to see if i can get some assistance on this. Hopefully you will have more luck than i’ve had so far, really not happy with this.

Yes, it does take the 72 hours, or nearly in many cases. It’s not the CS Team that approves or disapproves the dispersal of Gems, but the payment provider. With the amount of fraudulent purchases, it is only a system that protects all players, by keeping the more unscrupulous out of the game.

So I was wondering if I was the only one having this issue but I see I’m not.

I have been waiting 4 days already and have been informed after I contacted support again that a further 24 hour wait is necessary.

I don’t mind the wait, but have to say when it’s advertised that the wait can take up too 72 hours and then it takes longer I have found myself wondering what they are doing.

I recently purchased a gem bundle separately and the gems were delivered within 1 minute of the purchase.

So what is different about my HoT Ultimate purchase that this needs such a long time to finalize.

Any way hope it gets sorted soon. I have my eye on a few things I would like in the gem store

I bought the Ultimate Edition this Tuesday night and I still haven’t got the 4000 gems… I have an open ticket 4 days now for this issue… I’m also begging in that ticket for them to give me the gems asap so I can buy the limited time sales they got ending in 2 days…

Monday morning. No gems. Seriously, what’s the hold up? Geez, guys, it’s the 21st century! Millions of dollars can be transferred almost instantaneously between banks and financial centers. Yet, you can’t flip a switch on my account that says “Oh! He purchased the Ultimate upgrade! Activate the one-time 4000 gem increase.”. How is it that every single one of my friends that bought this upgrade got their gems within two to ten hours? The charge is already on my credit card! It’s been authenticated and paid! So, what’s the hold up?

Well i got a response on my ticket this morning. I was told that it could take up to 7 days for gems to be added. If that’s the case they should just tell you that during your purchase and not claim 72 hours. However when i checked in game i had received my gems around the same time as i got the reply to my ticket. So either a massive coincidence or they actually added the gems manually… you decide.

My transaction has completed and I have no gems. I also got the 4000 Ultimate Upgrade. I’m confused as to why this takes so long exactly, why is it not automated? I don’t want to miss the Halloween skins.
