I've had it with error 7
Perhaps your ISP has problem. Perhaps there’s a problem with a network node on the way to A-net’s servers.
Most likely though, it’s a problem with your internet security/firewall software. I have NEVER had this issue and have been playing since December 2012. I do not use a third party firewall, only the Windows firewall.
A buddy of mine was having some issues like that it was an ISP issue however what you can try is Leatrix Fix, you will have to reboot once installed and reboot when removing it.
It wont show any advantages is you are on wireless, it might actually degrade your connection.
If you do use it and are not on wireless you might see that youtube might not perform as it should might get slow.

Leatrix works fine on XP, but not on 7 or 8 .

I’ve been using Leatrix on Windows 7 64 bit for the past two hours, no issues but PERHAPS a SLIGHT performance drop. Thanks for the help! Hope it works for as long as possible
Hey glad it could help out =)
Maybe people out there not on Wireless and are getting Error 7 can try this out and see if it helps.

I’ve tested it thoroughly.
It makes absolutely no difference with my ping at the following website:
Edited to add: Yes, when I had XP my ping dropped in half using Leatrix (I was playing WoW back then).

I think you should look up what Leatrix does. =P

I know exactly what it does. I think you should go test it.
I think the OP answered your test it theory.

21 days later.. Works flawlessly.
See that? My latency is so good now I posted this a day in advance.
I can see the future, abomally DON’T EAT THAT BURGER!
But seriously this is a great quick fix and everyone should know about it.
Good for you.
Funny, but I’m 47, 6’ tall and weigh 185.
So…what WAS your latency (ping) before using Leatrix and after? All the latency fix does is change the default packet ACK frequency from 2 to 1. Before Leatrix came out, I used to do this with a registry key change.
If that minor change was enough to stop your network from dropping out, then it is probably hiding a network issue that should have been fixed in the first place.
