I am having an issue with the game,

I was given a Super Adventure Box “Infinite Continue Coin” in the mail by another player who used the gift option but I don’t want it. Having limited continues makes me value each life and continue more and makes the game more fun for me.

The item in question is still in my mail and I have yet to accept it. I am asking that it be removed, perhaps refunded; either way, I don’t want to accept it

by the way, I haven’t made a ticket because going to the support site tells me that the site certificate is expired and every browser I use is warning me to not visit it

no, unfortunately; every option is greyed out, except for “take all”

Go ahead and take it. Thank him for the gift then either give it to someone else if you can or delete it.

That’s pretty much the accepted way to handle unwanted gifts.

You can gift items. If you gift an item, don’t you then mail it to the person?

Yes and no. The store mails the item to the person. You can’t mail the items yourself. So if you for example buy an infinite coin yourself, this is accountbound on arrival and you can’t mail it to another person. You can only gift it using the gemstore option to do so.

Do with it whatever you did with the one ArenaNet sent you. And send the other person a thank-you note! =)

That must be why the return option is grayed out then. It’s from ANet as gifted to him by the other person. If he takes it, it will be account bound. So, pretty much all he can do is take it, say thanks and then delete it if its unwanted.

What a waste of 600 gems ;/

Just keep it in your mail for now, in case you change your mind, or in case they add a return-to-sender function at some point.
