I received the attached in game mail, which I am assuming is a scam? I have reported it in game but thought I should highlight here as I expect many will fall for this.

Because many will not notice the “this isn’t from ArenaNet but another player” note attached by the e-mail system.

Yes, sadly there’s been an upswing in this crap now that players are returning to the game.

This has been reported and talked about in many many many posts, as well as in stickies from Anet. It quite clears says in the e-mail(as mentioned in all the posts and stickies) that it is not from Anet. .
