Guild Wars 2

Hello forums!

I’m in need of some advices with hardware. Since my fps is quite low, I’m planning on upgrading either my cpu or gpu. However, I’m not that good with computers so I need some help on what’s bottlenecking my performance.
I’d love to be able to run this game smoothly on low-medium. Now it wont do that even on low.

At the moment I have:
Intel core i5 750 @ 2.67 GHz (I quess that it has somekind of turbo to 3.2 GHz)
6GB ram
Nvidia Geforce GT 220

I heard that many mmos like wow and gw2 are quite cpu heavy, but I don’t know what should I be upgrading. It would be nice, if you could recommend some medium priced models with good quality for money.

Both your CPU and GPU will suffer in GW2, but your GPU right now is more limiting. If you don’t have money to upgrade both, you can start with a better GPU for now.

Well the cheapest and most obvious thing to upgrade is the graphics card. That’s your limiting factor at the moment.
