Guild Wars 2

Hello, I recently bought gw2 and i"ve been trying to download this game for awhile now
i left the computer running and game downloading thinking that its just a net servers yet even though my download speed is quite good with other games and also on the speedtest i download around 200kb/sec and sometimes 1 or 2 mb i tried asset changing it didnt work should i patiently wait or is there something i can do about this problem.

Speedtest doesn’t tell you anything about connecting to an ArenaNet server, just so you know.

That said, it can take awhile to download the game, and/or patches. It can depend on the file, the time, the amount of players downloading, etc. Your ISP may be throttling your download speed; you can speak to them, as well.

You can just leave it, or start it, and stop it; it will pick up where it left off if you stop the download.

I don’t know how long you have been trying, but if it’s been hours, I would check if GW2 has access to the internet through your firewall. Maybe it’s being blocked.
