Guild Wars 2

After the new update my lvl 53 Necromancer is stuck on the Brisban Wildlands loading screen.
Yak’s Bend server. Tried guesting in another server as some have suggested in previous posts. Did not help.

I should also add that that character also now magically has 0% map completion in the character selection menu

I have the same but on Straits of Devastation… It WILL load but after 20-30 min. and then my character will get lagged + DC from game.

Something is seriously wrong…

Guesting generally works if you can hop into a different instance, though I’m guessing only 1 may exist for that zone. Try guesting to one of the most popular servers. If you use the maploadinfo option (Gw2.exe -maploadinfo), you’ll be able to see what server you’re connecting to as well as the loading progress.

The next patch will kill all instances which should fix your problem. If not, you will want to run a repair (Gw2.exe -repair). After that, you will need to create a support ticket in case your character happens to be stuck in limbo.
