I’m starting a GW2 Fan Site, and I was wondering if we are allowed to advertise it in-game as long as it is not spammed?
What would you be advertising, your fansite? Mentioned once in a while in chat, with no profit motivations (like ads to sell gold shudder) and you’re ok. But do it once in a while, not frequently or people will resent it and report for spamming.

I would say just be careful, if enough people report you from spamming then you will get looked at and they will be able to tell from the chat logs. I’d say best way to get some exposure from your new site is more get links from other fan sites that have more traffic than yours and advertise where allowed in other gaming forums.
Thanks for the quick replies guys. Yeah.. I didn’t plan on sitting in town and spamming it all day long.
