So I already played gw2 today but i just came back and that patch hits when suddenly it doesnt want to go to the login screen it just says at initializing and when this http://gyazo.com/12ea0ef353d9801c2894fd6340373kittenoes all the way green it says Lost connection, ive restarted my computer and tried in admin mode but thing helps :/

Me too. My daughter’s computer 1.5 m away downloaded everything nicely.

Ok i fix this. Delete BIN folder.

SweetFX maybe? I think it might be the problem.

Yes, got stuck again at initializing after putting the sweetfx files back into the bin-folger.
Dont want to play without it though, boohoo.

same without sweetfx its so ugly even on high resolution

I really wish they would stop tampering with how SweetFX works with this game.

GemFX not working either The game looks so dull now.

Yeah, I am using SweetFX too. Moved the files out of the GW2 folder and client started behaving again. No more vibrant colors until someone fixes this.

If you skip the launcher with command line switches you can get the game to launch even with sweetfx d3d9.dll in the bin folder and retain sweetfx functionality

SweetFx still not working for me with the autologin command.

Someone..help…I really can’t stand how it looks atm..Been playing this game for 2 years with the same sweetfx settings…this feels awkward.

Edit:The one able to help me gets a naked picture of my character.

Another way to log into the game with gemfx/sweetfx on bin is to click on the word “initializing” when youre stuck on that screen.
