Hello,
Last day, when trying to login to my main i get a pop up asking to rename my character named “Dios”. i have had this name since release and never had a problem at all. Im not getting how this is being offensive… has anyone had this happen in the last days as well?

It Spanish for God. So that might be problem.

hey, yea i just got a response saying it got reported for being “offensive”. 3 years of having that name and being know like that going to waste, i dont think this is fair at all

If name is against rule it do not matter how long you have it. Anet do not see every name in the game so could be some person recently report it. When some person report it and anet see it is against rule they make name change.

Thats true, but just because someone doesnt agree with my name and goes and report it should i be taken off it after 3 years of making myself a name with it in game? this is totally unfair

Yes if Anet say name break rule like I say do not matter how long you have name. A name against rule is name against rule. You could write back to support and ask for review if you think unfair but Anet make rule and decide.
