Q:
Input signal out of range.
A:
try starting the game in windowed mode with the -windowed switch. it should allow you to access the options in-game and change the resolution.
if you don’t know how to use the -windowed switch, here’s some instructions:
For Windows
1. Right click on your Guild Wars 2 shortcut and select ‘Properties’.
2. In the ‘Target’ field you will see the location of your Guild Wars 2 executable file
3. Write the desired command line argument after the quote marks, beginning with a space:
right: “…\Guild Wars 2\Gw2.exe” -windowed
wrong: “…\Guild Wars 2\Gw2.exe”-windowed
For Mac
1. Right/ctrl-click GuildWars2.app and choose ShowPackageContent
2. Find Contents>Resources>CiderSettings.plist
3. Using TextEdit find this line:
<string>—cmdline ""</string>
4. Add the command line arguments you want between the quotation marks like this:
<string>—cmdline “-windowed”</string>
