Guild Wars 2

I’ve been getting a lot of intermittent lag since the last small update. On my thief Every 5th or 6th auto-shot with a pistol it lags and then 2 shoot out (all other actions are delayed at the same frequency but that should give you a good idea of how often it’s occurring). As it is I cannot play the game in its current state.

I reinstalled my graphics drivers, but the problem persists.

My internet is fine and I live in California.

I’ve plaid this game since the 3 day early launch with NO problems until this last small patch.

I’m having fps lag too. It seems that its a problem for many players. No announcement from Anet tho. They should keep us informed.

Same thing is happening for me! I haven’t experienced this either until last patch. It’s not too big of an issue, but in some cases I’ve lost a couple of duels because of it

Well glad to hear it’s not just me… it’s horrid and I won’t play in these conditions (other than to force myself to deal with it to do my daily and then log out). If I need to dodge my timing will often be off… that can be fatal depending on the attack (or in a pvp fight in general this means death). It’s very very frustrating.

I have also been having bad lag spikes since yesterday (3/1/2013). I have a pretty high end system(i7 3820, 32 GB quad channel ddr3, GTX570) and lots of bandwidth (also in California). Talked to other players and they are seeing lag to.

Ever since patch happens for me all time in combat.

Same thing here. Was perfectly fine before the patch. Now I get .5 seconds lag every 2 seconds. Only noticeable in combat. Checked every internet network problem on my end, everything works perfectly.

Tracert on the ip from “/ip” there are serious issues with 150+ms and timeouts.

It’s something on Arenanets end.

Also opened every gaming port, 443 6110 6600 that players have been talking about on various forums.

A question to intel people, do you have a certain iControl (part of Ai Suite 2) running on the background? It caused me some severe trouble and long lag spikes. I removed it and the game runs perfect now.
