Attempting to buy an account for my brother

Payed for the game and when prompted to register receive this error message

Invalid Serial Code

The serial code given was not recognized by our system. Please try again.

Anyone have any idea why this would pop up?

oh forgot, the prompt came up right after hitting complete purchase..

There are lots of unauthorized sellers that traffic in counterfeit or already used / banned serial codes.

the thing is i bought it from the guild wars 2 website.. buy.guildwars2.com :P

I guess you’ll have to contact support. They probably won’t tell you the correct serial code if you have it wrong but they should be able to help you register the game.

If your brother is the one who is going to be the account holder he should be the one to contact support.
