Guild Wars 2

Is GW2 down right now? My game client will not even launch…and I don’t see any postings on this site…would be nice if they were by date…but I digress. Help, this is my stress release after driving home in 2 hours of traffic!!!!!!!

Yikes, now I don’t feel as bad. I guess I will play GW1…haven’t played that in a while anyway. Thanks for the quick response!

I can’t login also. Two things changed on my side:

1. I installed the new Windows Updates
2. GW2 applied a large update to my game client

I CAN login to Guild Wars 1 and the forums.

The game client was unable to connect to the log-in server. Please restart your client and try again. If the problem persists, contact Customer Support for assistance at http://support.guildwars2.com.

I believe it is affecting GW1 as well, although it appears things are starting to come back up slowly.

Since the outages have affected the forums and the website, I’d keep an eye on Twitter where outages have not affected their ability to communicate the issue.

I can login fine now.
