While out questing I generally have 40 FPS on average, despite any setting, all low, or all high, it seems having a lot of players on the screen always determines how well the game runs for me. All high, or all low really makes zero difference for me.

If I’m out alone or doing story quests, I get 60 FPS. During events, I get about 25-30. In WvW I fluctuate between 20 to 60 until a siege of opposing players comes out of the wood work, which plummets my framerate down to at least 5, just unplayable.

i5, GTX 460 here. I mean, if I have to sacrifice WvW just to play I will, but I would prefer if the insane amount of players on the screen was cut down a bit or something. It’s brutal.

This happens to me too. At first I thought it was just my old computer, but as you say, regular PvE content has decent FPS. Once I step into WvW and run towards the enemy, FPS drops to unplayable levels. As it is now there’s no way I could do WvW without going insane.

I have a i5 2500k , 560ti and experience the same problem. The high vs low setting make no difference to the performance. I can turn everything down to a minimum and the game looks like a undefined , blurred monstrosity yet I’ll get the same FPS if I had everything turned up to max.

My skills also stop responding in WvW as well and I need to activate them 4/5 times to get them to work. Apart from the performance issue this is the biggest problem for me in WvW atm.

Same here… Average 60~70 FPS at outworld, 30~40 FPS at events that huge people are participating but at WwWwW it’s 10~15. Game really need a graphic optimization at the WwW side.

When you run into the Massive group of people and get the “low FPS” run out and do the nearest vista and watch it somehow returns fps to normal.

Then it drops again when you get near the group.

i would like them to fix it soon as would everyone. im not using a super computer i can get 60-80 fps in some PvE areas but WvW takes a nose dive.

i feel for the people with good computers that have this issue also i mean they Payed to not have this be an issue so its kinda frustrating for everyone.

Well i think in WvW massive fights, CPU is bottleneck as far as i monitored people’s problems.
