I talk from friends account because my was hacked and I dont know how is it possible. I buy game here from official website, reg mail was newly created gmail especialy for this game and its used only for that, 32 character unique very strong pass, sms autentification also. Game was also strong 15 char unique pass. I never told anyone my pass or wrote it somewhere. My PC is new there is just win, gw2 and ESET security suite all keep updated. No keylogers ect there. 3/4 mats for legendary is gone, all is gone. Most sad thing is that you haven`t backups for rollback.

I know you heard that milion times in last few weaks and I am not alone but guys you expect world of rainbows and happy fair people so you don`t include so BASIC feature into launch? I can`t imagine any other reason why it isn`t there.

Guess your computer was not as secure as you think.

And now your friends account may be compromised if you logged in from your computer

Obviously you either used the email and password somewhere else or you have a virus on your computer. There is -no- other way for you to have been hacked, sorry to say.

Especially if your email and your GW2 password were different, there is no way other than a logger that this information could have been leaked.

Guys I work as IT security supervisor in our company so I can say I know what I`m doing. I always make maximum for my PC security trust me.
As I sad that was unique passwords (RSA standards) in email and in game what I never use anywhere. On email isnt any of that “someone from china trying loging into your account” post.

Just by reading the Original Post, there is a serious and glaring security flaw in the OP’s own network/security system.
