I never experienced lag so heavy that it is unplayable until October 22, 2012.

After every 15-30 seconds that I regain control, my computer freezes for 5 minutes and this is in an empty zone. In LA, I cannot regain control for about 15 minutes.

Before October 22, 2012, the game was so smooth that I can walk into a WvW zerg and my computer will only drop a few frame rate where it isn’t noticeable.

I figure it was the update but, tech support will think otherwise.

-It has been in the lowest setting since launch.

5x Warrior, 5x Ranger, 4x Elementalist, 4x Engineer,
4x Necromancer, 3x Mesmer, 4x Guardian, 4x Thief, 4 Revenant

I dunno, for about a week now the game has been unplayable for me. I used to get 25-40 fps anywhere, even Lion’s Arch. About a week ago my fps went to 10-15 in underpopulated zones. In Lion’s Arch I get 3. I wish I could play during the Halloween event :c.

I fixed my issue. I just had to re-seat my video card. I doubt this will fix your problem though.

I too, am experiencing absurd amounts of lag since October 22. Whether I’m in Orr, Ascalonian catacombs or in Lions Arch. I will get 15 seconds of lag every minute or so. Its becoming very frustrating. It would be cool to enjoy the game on my days off work. hint hint

i did notice this in WvW tonight, only what i can describe as packet loss, players and enemies teleporting everywhere, seems to be specific to GW2 when jumping in other online games. It was less noticeable in PvE but still there.
