Guild Wars 2

I’m a new player and have very limited play time – maybe to people who have been playing it since launch this April Fools is a nice distraction, but I prefer to be able to play normally. Is there a way to disable it ?

It should be turned off in a few hours I believe, when the event is over.

Other than that you can turn off the sepia by turning off post processing in options and the sounds by turning off dialogue sounds.

Thanks for the help , the sound and the hands are annoying too , I’m afraid I’m not going to enjoy it in this state …

You probably wouldn’t have liked the bobbleheads last year then.

you can disable everything but the hands. I just wish the NPCs held their hands out like kittens too, doing kitten kitten kitten !

Annoying your customers on purpose is not a minor, silly thing.
I was on PSN when it went down for a month. I was on Diablo 3 at launch. Or waiting for transfer on Warhammer for weeks – getting annoyed I admit , but not quitting. I tolerated those because I knew the people behind were doing their best. I have no faith in someone who is knowingly and willfully spoiling people’s fun. I too wish you all the best in your dealings with Arena Net.

No need to wish me luck, I’ve been enjoying the April Fool’s content for ~10 years now. Always something to look forward to. =)

Remind me never to joke around with you. You obviously take things completely the wrong way. I have played around with it and its quite fun and hilarious might i add. Its april fools….get over it. If my husband were able to get on we would probably be running around making complete idiots of ourselves. Its nice to see at least Arena Net has a sense of humor =)

People need to have some fun. If you can’t… have fun… in a video game (meant to have fun) then maybe video games aren’t for you. It’s one day. If you don’t like it, you can choose to not log on for 1 day. There are plenty of things to do. If you are really upset about a company trying to make the game a little interesting (and different since they like to do something unique each year), then maybe something else is setting off your nerves. VIDEO GAME PEOPLE.

I stopped noticing it entirely after about 20 minutes. I’ve seen a lot more annoying things than some airplane noises. But then, I was a preschool teacher. And I’ve got two teenagers.

LOL!! Check out his posts, although he is trying to help in his own way, he seems to think he is some sort of GW2 tech guru by posting in just about every thread in the support area. Of course the majority of responses are often submit a ticket “Good Luck”
