Sorry if this is the wrong section, I’m very new here,

First off, if I cant get it to run, that’s fine, I’ve got a gaming PC that will run it well, but I don’t always have access to it and id really like to play this game on this PC.

Now, I’ve put every single setting to lowest or none if possible, and it gets about 7 fps looking around in the Asura starting area, while this doesn’t surprise me too much, this PC has run other games that look rather similar to GW2 graphically.

Onto my specs

Original unmodified computer: Dell Dimension E310 (so yes, a dinosaur basically)

OS: Windows XP

Processor (by far the worst part I believe): Intel Pentium 4 CPU 2.8GHz (2 CPUs)

Ram: 2 Gigabytes.

Graphics card: ATI Radeon 4000 series. (DXdiag refuses to tell me the specific card, but it should be good to run GW2 on minimum)

I think that’s about all for my specs, I understand this computer SHOULDN’T be able to run this game, but I just want to see if anyone has managed to get decent fps with a horrible computer.

Again, if this is the wrong spot for this post, I’m very sorry.

Thanks.

In short .. No

You could OC, but the only time iv seen good OC’s on those cpu;s is when people are going mad ..modifiying new coolers to fit their old cpu’s and ramping the voltage up to insane levels getting it to run at over 4ghz even 5ghz ..just for kicks :P

Chances are though since its a Dell computer. . the mothebroard wont allow you to OC alot ..if at all ….So im afraid your stuffed :P
