Guild Wars 2

So I just purchased Guild Wars 2 (YAY!) But when I try to run the set up. It downloads, then asks permission to run the game client. When I say “Yes” it flashes the window then closes. I scoured the forums shortly. Tried disable all microsoft services. Tried using a DNS server. Also tried turning off my firewalls.

Has anyone encountered a similar issue or offer some solutions. Much appreciated!

Have you tried run it as an administrator ?

Yes. It’s one of the first things I did.

Are you running duel monitors? if so unplug you secondary monitor.

I have exactly the same problem. Found out that installer moved my files to temporary folder. When i move them to other location and click gw2.exe gw2.dat starts loading, but i dont manage to start the game.
