I’m not really sure if this is the right place for this but im having an issue using the LFG system and I believe it has to do with my region. Basically, I am just missing the gift of Ascalon to finish twilight and I cant seem to join AC runs via LFG. I see plenty of groups advertised but whenever I join the group and try to enter the dungeon I get an error code saying I cant join.
I did some digging and as it turns out it seems that LFG is only showing me groups advertised on the EU region however I am located on a US server (Jade quarry). I tried to join maybe 30 groups over the course of a few days and every single one was always a group from the EU and as I understand it, a US player cant join a EU player and vice versa. My question is, is there any way to get LFG to change the region of players that LFG shows (if that is indeed the problem?).
It is probably my fault since I am actually located in the UK but I have been on a US server since the game launched and finding a group for dungeons without LFG (especially as a relatively new dungeon runner) has become very problematic. I also double checked to ensure that I could enter dungeons with people from my own server (a few friends) and I am able, which leads me to believe that LFG is just displaying groups based on my IP rather than in-game server.
If there is no way to correct this in-game, is there any other method I could use as a workaround?
