Item restoration?
They typically only do account restorations for hacked accounts and I think even then it is a one time thing. Also, technically you are not suppose to share your account with anyone, even family. Your situation is part of the reason they have such rules.
I didn’t share it on purpose. Regardless, you are allowed to share it with one minor child.

That doesn’t change the fact that the item was salvaged due to error on your end. If it were a game bug or a hacked account it would be a different situation.

No. You aren’t allowed to share the account. If you made the account for a minor, it’s theirs to play.
But back to your situation. If the child (or anyone else), accessed your account/did something without your permission on your PC, the Account Restoration doesn’t apply. Anet Support needs to determine if the request is for a clearly hacked account, or simply because someone made a bad choice in game. In your case, because it was done in house, there’s no way to tell if someone else really did hack your account, or if you’re just making that up because of a personal mistake.

Account restorations are not used to undo user error. You’re welcome to submit a ticket, but the solution would not/will not be to “roll back” the account.
The “minor child” situation generally means you create and account and turn it over for his/her use. There is a difference in how this functions for household members in the EU. Consult the User Agreement for your region to better understand the rules related to account sharing.
