i was thinking of buying digital duluxe edition for its ingame item and character slots, but i was wondering if say i could combine that one with the one have ? would it add my character slot?

No, you cannot buy the deluxe edition to upgrade an existing account. Buying the deluxe edition will only give you a second account. The only way to upgrade is through the gem store at the cost of 2,000 gems and it doesn’t come with an extra character slot.

You can certainly (potentially) purchase a Deluxe Edition (or Heroic Edition) upgrade from the gem store when they offer them and upgrade your existing account (as long as it is not already one of those editions). Go to the Gem Store and the upgrades section will point you to what you can purchase to upgrade your account.
You CANNOT have different accounts merged or combined.
