Guild Wars 2

i just bought myself the CD game for GW2 and it seems like my PC isn’t reading the disc every time i entered the disc into my PC. is it normal?

If I am not mistaken, if a cd isn’t read in a PC, I used to go in the computer resouces (not sure if this is it’s exactly name, english isn’t my first language, but the window that show your HD, and the other things plugged into it) and open the relative DVD

You should be able to find it under Explorer.

However,if you can’t install from cd, go to account.guildwars2.com, use the same login you use here, then click the download link.

Once downloaded, run this installer as administrator and you shoud be on your way to download ~17.5gb of gaming goodness.

All this as long as your system meets the requirements.

To prevent issues, disable any energy saver or screen lockout settings until the download is complete. If you must save your screen, do it the old fashioned way of powering it down.
