My daughters best friend just bought Hot to play with my daughter yesterday. She had chosen a europeen server without realising that there are different worlds, and my daughter is on an american server. They realised this problem as they were to play together today and tried party up but did not find eachother.

I read up on wiki about this and told them about the two region worlds, that they need be on same region to play together, and so we were to try transfer. Then I realised there was no option to do this without any cost once picked or alternativly you need delete all characters and have no active charcacters to be able to make a free transfer.
That is no problem neither as she just started really but it arise new questions.

Q1: Is it really true there is no option for new players to make one transfers within first days?

Q2: She got some account items with her purchase, plus she gained a booster pack as she started, if she deletes all her active chars now will these items vanish? or will she aquire them again once she make a new char on new and right server?

Q3: Does support read these forums or do i need write a ticket on her behalf? English is our secondary language so ive said ill help them figure this out as there are to much technical language for them involved here.

And most say if this is true that i find it wierd that there is absolutly no option to change servers within the first days, there should seriously be a 7days limit as you buy game so you can be certain you both like, enjoy and are on right server if you got friends already playing this game. ’One transfer with a limit of 7 days should be totally reasonable.

One can transfer, without cost, by deleting all characters and placing all non-soulbound items in the bank. The bank and all account-wide features transfer with the account.

Transferring has a 7-day cool-down, for new and old accounts.

Your daughter’s friend can contact the CS Team via the ‘Support’ link above/below and ‘Submit a Request’ for assistance/further information. You can not request assistance on her behalf.

1: You can transfer for free if you delete all your characters. After a transfer there is a 7 day cool down. I’m not sure if there is a cool down on account creation, but I don’t believe so.

2: as long as they are not soulbound she can put them in the bank and they will be safe to transfer to the new server

3: support does see the forums, but to get a surefire response you need to send in a ticket. In your case I think you can get your transfer done without involving CS.

Thank you both of you!!! I forgot to ask if the penalty of 7 days counted on character creation, but that too was a question i had, and i guess we will find out when we try tomorrow.

I’ll tell her that she can safely place all items in bank then, she was only lvl 2 so the char was not the problem, but the items was as she didnt want to loose them, and i didnt want to advise her to do anything that could risk her loosing them. Hopefully we dun need put up support ticket if this goes smooth.
