Guild Wars 2

All of my characters cause the client to crash after clicking the play button. I will see the area screen “lion’s arch” or “queesdale” and then boom.

I get this:

I’ve been dealing with this exact same problem since October 14 or 15. So far Tech Support has said to update my Nvidia drivers, which I did following their instructions to the letter.

Their next suggestion was to speed up my underclocked RAM, which I had no idea was underclocked. I’ve set the RAM to their specifications as well.

I am still crashing after the character screen. My computer shuts down, without any error messages, and reboots.

P.S. before someone interjects with temps, the GPU is running at 56C, while playing the game it runs at 70C, the CPU runs at 50C.

And as to the power supply, it’s 800 watts and clean.

Hey guys been having this issue and fixed it. The game has always worked for me until last night.

I don’t use mumble. I turned off the overlays in MSI afterburner and my game launched! So I think any overlays with fraps or other programs is causing the problem.
Also if you want to use overlays for FPS/Temps whatever I was able to turn them back on after being in game. I just can’t launch the game with overlay turned on.
