It worked when I first did it then when I logged back on it quit working. I bound z to swim down. I tried reset to default, log off, log back on then rebind z for swim down. It still doesn’t work. I tried a different key and that didn’t work. is there any reason why I can’t swim down now??

You can just point your camera down. I’ve never used a key to ‘swim down’.

I have my “swim down” bound to C and haven’t had issues.

Pointing your camera down works if you’re just swimming down, but if you’re fighting underwater it helps to have that extra mobility of being able to move up/down to deal with mobs.
