Guild Wars 2

Tryed some gw2 short after release and could not stand the bugs with appearing under the world and keyboard dying etc. I took a pause and now when i get back I manage to play about 1 hour and it still happens. When I play the keyboard just shuts of randomly (or atleast randomly to my untrained eye) when i play. In the game, EVERY button is disabled. When i tab out, everything works and it’s stuck like this until i restart my client. Did not know you couldn’t get a dc during the instance i made (not realy sure why?) and when i had to restart i got kicked out. It’s realy starting to annoy me and I don’t got a clue how to fix it. Don’t know what info you want so just gonna print as much as I can remember.

CPU: AMD phenom II x4 955 3,2 ghx
G-card: Ati Radeon 5870

Does anyone have any suggestions at all? Kinda unplayable and insanly annoying.

Have you tried using a different keyboard, to see if it is truly the game, and not the keyboard itself (or its drivers?) giving the problems? Never experienced anything like that myself, using a Logitech G15 myself

Don’t realy got any other keyboard and I have tryed to reinstall the computer so almost sure it’s not the drivers.

My Sidewinder X4 keyboard cuts out in GW2 when I change the profile on my mouse, you work that one out! I use a different button profile for each weapon I use so if I want to change weapon I either have to log out and back in or in the case of times (most of the time!) where I cant log out I put up with the change. Its a pain ive gotten used to living with.

My Sidewinder X4 is also cutting out. I’m mainly noticing it after using my supply to build siege weapons. I regain control anywhere from 10-30 seconds. I’ll try my other keyboard tonight.

I have a Logitek DeNovo BT keyboard/mouse combo – the mouse will mostly not work when playing this game. The only solution was to turn the mouse off and pickup a cheap ($9) USB/Optical mouse.

The corded optical mouse works flawlessly. IDK what GW2 does to wireless rodents but switching to wired fixed it for me.
