Guild Wars 2

Hello,
My keys don’t always work in game any longer. It’s almost like they are ‘sticking’. Whether I play directly on my laptop keyboard, or my wireless keyboard, I may have to hit a key several times before I can move, open my bags, use the ‘escape’ key, etc. It makes the game unplayable. I can’t enjoy combat because I can’t always turn. Sometimes I have to hit the w/a/s/d key 3 or 4 times before it moves. This just started happening this week. I do not believe it is lag. I have a direct fiber optic line into my house. I get less than a 13ms ping. This does not happen to any other game I play.

I have experienced the exact same thing. Hitting the movement keys and there is no response in game.

Not sure if this is the same problem, but I get stuck in place sometimes and it doesn’t matter how many times I press movement keys or turn keys or both mouse buttons to move they are unresponsive. The only way I can get out of that state is if I use an ability which involves movement like a leap. I already happened to me several times and I’m usually engaged in action that requires fast tapping or multiple keys tapped at the same time.

Bump. It is happening with me to it takes 3 or 4 key strokes before it registers i want to move forward i have set my bindings to default (and no its not a busted keyboard) please help wanted to return to the game and get some WvW in but by the time the game sees i want to move forward its to late.

I think i figured it out!!! if i run the client (64-bit) from a shortcut it happens but if I run it from the folder (direct client) it works just fine. This is what happens for me anyway.
