Seriously what is going on with these servers?

Every 60m I DC, been like this for the last 3 days now, on top of that I get sudden lag spikes. I spend 40% of my playing time battling against lag/dc, the EU servers got must worst since last year….and still no solution in sight.

I have the same problem since last Friday. Everything worked perfectly fine before.

Have you done a trace route to the servers? Or are you just blaming it on arena net with no proof they don’t own all the networks between you and thee servers

MANY players started experiencing these lags recently, so please stop being ridiculous.

Been checking forums since a while and more people keep posting this high ping / skill delay. Came back to the game since 2 months and after a week it started. Im on EU server btw. Everything works fine (other online games) just GW2 not. My PC can handle the game fine, so its not that either. Comes up almost everyday and the game becomes unplayable. I dont see the point in tracing when so many people got the same exact problem. Would be nice if they could tell us something how they want to handle this, keep us updated about the progress.

Its Telekom -> Telia in Frankfurt mainly in EU .. but i think you will still not believe it
even after i show you those 2 traces from the same day, one with my normal
connection the other with CyberGhost VPN.

in game, type /ip, take the IP address and in command prompt type

tracert xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx = the IP address from the /ip command. Paste the output here.

Also the issue is not with who you claim its with, the DTAG.DE transport to Level3 before NCSoft’s servers is whos throwing you lag. IP 62.157.249.78 (Which I cannot reach from the US, but I can reach its link partner 62.154.32.78 so there is something going on there that the ISP needs to fix.)

40% packet loss mostly results in very noticible lag .. for your information

Else .. sorry my bad .. of course i meant Telekom → Level3 .. and not Telia of course.
