Had to give up playing as no matter where I went It was a lag fest, at times,15 seconds would pass before a skill I pressed actually fired, so for me the game was unplayable

I’m having the same issue. My game used to work fine though before today, I think it is the new event, but no matter where I am the game is un-playably laggy
I am having the exact same problems ,its totally unplayable!
Only happened since the new update.
My connection is perfectly fine and other games are working without problems.
I have just had to quit playing as it’s just impossible at the moment, lag, lag, lag then disconnect. It’s the first time I have ever had to do that.
I’m in the UK on Aurora Glade server.
Is it just happening in the EU or are there problems on the US servers as well?
I’m in the U.S and having this problem. Outside of gw2 the internet is working fine, no problems with other games.
