Guild Wars 2

So this started happening this morning as I was logging in to the game. My mouse started to stutter/freeze frequently as i moved it around. This happens for about 2 seconds at a time, every 5 seconds or so.

I reinstalled my mouse drivers, the problem still remained. I also checked other games to see if it was happening in those too, and it was only in the GW2 game and launcher that this happened.

My mouse is a Razer Ouroboros wired mouse. If anyone can help, it would be much appreciated.

FIX: I closed Razer Synapse and it fixed the issue. Is this a compatibility issue with Gw2/Synapse? Anyhow, The problem is fixed entirely. I will try and redownload Synapse to see if it will work somehow with Gw2 again. Thank you for the response anyways.

Alright, now not only does my mouse lag and stutter; but now my entire game is more laggy than before. I am getting 30-40 frames on max settings in open areas (few players, few effects) when before, I would get nearly 80 frames in these open areas. This is a serious issue, the expansion is a little under 2 days away!!!! Please, someone help out!

Post the specs of your computer + what hardware (as in the mouse)

Run GPU-Z and CPU-Z while having GW2 open. Take a picture of them both and post there.

Also if you have some compressed air, open up your case and blow out any dust that is in it.

Update: Logged back into the game, mouse issues still active. But the unbearable lag is now gone (or improved) it would seem. So no longer is that an issue. Although I would still like to fix the mouse issue.

I’m using synapse since the start of gw2,never had this issue,you sure it’s not caused by something else conflicting with synapse perhaps ?

I’m using synapse since the start of gw2,never had this issue,you sure it’s not caused by something else conflicting with synapse perhaps ?

I also use Synapse since maybe a year, and never had those kind of problems.

I’m really not entirely sure what caused this problem, because I too have used synapse for about a year with Gw2 and never had the issue until now. All I know is that synapse was definitely the issue. I reinstalled synapse and deleted all my profiles for my mouse and it is now working as it should. It is quite a mystery what really happened.
