Since early morning (around 10:00am GMT) on april 15th, I’ve been getting weird lags on some maps.

First it was gendarran fields, was fine at 90~110ms, then after 10:00am it shot up to 400~700ms, then EB and borderlands joined in, till i logged in today at the same time, and it was fine.

But right now, i’m getting these weird ping “jumps”, it start off normally at 85~110ms, then suddenly shoots up to 130~220ms for a random number of seconds, then goes back down for a few seconds, then back up again.

And it’s worse in EB, because at spawn i’m sitting at 83~95ms, but as soon as i get nearer to a group of people/zerg, it starts going up, until i’m in the heat of battle and it’s shoots up to 160~220, and doesn’t really go down.

WTH is going on??, is it ANet’s servers or me?

I have the same issue. I got tremendous lags on PvP. These lags costed me 3 games on which i was constantly losing connection and getting no reward points for resetting my score.

Im having similar issues. I was in Queensdale, and I would hit lag spikes. This doesn’t happen in my other MMOs and only started in GW2 after I installed the new patch.

ANet please have tech support look into or give us a sign that you are looking into this.

Same problem here, i’ve made a tracert, attaching it here.

If you wanna do a tracert open up the cmd and write :

tracert se.rv.er.ip > C:\Users\yourname\Desktop\tracert.txt

or change the directory if you want to save it somewhere else…

For the ip go ingame and type in chat /ip and you’re good

The process will take some time, don’t close the CMD window until it’s done.

This is the Tech Support forum, but NOT actual game support. You need to open a ticket if you want “official” Anet support.
