Guild Wars 2

I’ve had this problem for some time and I’ve searched the forums for fixes, none of which worked.

While running GW2, my laptop’s screen turns black before crashing 5 minutes after the game starts running. I have tried the Nvidia solution and I have also checked the computer temperatures, making sure that any of the components aren’t overheating.

I have a Sony Vaio VPCF13E1E with an Intel i5 M460 and 4 GB of Ram.
I run Windows 7 64 bit OS and I have an Nvidia Geforce GT 425M.

I can run several other games perfectly fine and I only have this problem with GW2.
Any help with this problem would be appreciated.

You may have tried this already, but have you upgraded to the most recent graphics drivers?

I was having major crashing problems for quite some time on my laptop, I have an Nvidia GT 525M graphics card. The most recent drivers that came out a few days ago have totally fixed all my problems knocks on wood. If you haven’t updated yet I would suggest you give it a shot.

Updating to the latest Nvidia Driver since I didn’t have the one that came out a few days ago. Will report soon to say if the problem is solved or not.

Unfortunately, the issue still stands, even after updating the drivers.
