Latency fix aka tcpackfrequency
Very limited if not Zero improvement from messing with this in the last few years with XP and Windows 7. Absolutely Zero effect on Windows 8, 8.1 and 10.
Have had marginal success messing with router and network card MTU settings but certainly not a silver bullet fix for lag issues.

It works on XP – but has no effect on Windows 7, 8 or 10.
