You tech guys may already be aware of this. A cmd ping test has isolated a latency issue to one or more servers on your end. Sea of Sorrows is unplayable at this moment.

Crystal Desert as well, and attacking anything is delayed for like 10 seconds along with the trading post takes ages to load and not listing the items I am selling. The login server barely let me in too.

Hope this is fixed soon…

Same at Tarnished Coast. My skills are delayed for 2-3 seconds and I can’t open the trading post anymore. Please check.

Also on SoS logged back in to check lag, still unplayable.

This lag is really pushing me to The Point of No Return!!!

Same on Ferguson’s Crossing. Skill Lag makes it unplayable and TP is almost unusable.

Not sure what you mean by ‘on logging in’ but I am getting unplayable lag too. Started about 8 hrs ago and still unplayable. I get general skill delays, rubber-banding, especially evident when using mobility skills, and every one around me is blinking around, especially telling in high pop areas, even getting chat lag that is sometimes delayed between 5-15s.

GW2 has been fine for the week prior and there is absolutely nothing wrong with my internet after extensive testing and as I stated, only started around 8 hrs ago.

Same problem here from south america, Lag is completely umplayable for me 2-10 secs delay ping from 300-1k for GW2 server my usual ping is at 100ms, TP unusable. Please fix this

Last night I did guild missions without any problems, now I’m having the same lag/latency issues that people have described here. Trouble logging in, chat delay, skill lag, people blinking around and disconnects.
Playing from Belgium on Jade Quarry, if that matters.

It’s the Internet, number one complaint for all online gaming is lag, not sure what to tell you but maybe it will clear up just keep trying there are a numbe of threads on things you can try but with the state if the world right now and cyber terrorism other factors and your location you will lag and others will not, also other factor like how many people are on the same connection at your home, downloading and streaming media while playing the game will cause lag. Are you connected to the Internet by wifi or an Ethernet cable, if you game get a cable wifi sucks for gaming to many devices shearing the same radio spectrum can cause you to lag and drop connection. Internet bandwidth being sold of to the highest bidder, ISPs throttling your connection or rerouting you to lower bandwidth lanes and checking everything you send and receive for copyright infringement. More and more media companies streaming HD video the list and reasons go on. Yes there are time that Anets server have an issues but these are rare and I can say that 99% of all lag issues are outside of Anet’s servers and beound their control. Good luck

What are u trying to do Anet? Keep people away from the game? Lots of problems log in in Portugal!!!! WTF!!!!!

Yeah, stuck at 1 file left at launcher.. downloaded 15GB already and it’s still going. One other post on here.. someone has been stuck at 1 file for the last 3-4 days since patch and has already download 80GB of it.. and still can’t play. I can’t either. Forever downloading 1 file which is just garbage.
