Latency
Try these steps to test if it’s your end (router/modem), ISP route, game servers, or a combination.
https://en.support.guildwars2.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/9245
At least then you know first and can pinpoint the issue and possibly find a fix. Or report it accordingly.
At least until a dev can help you. If you can’t get answers here and still have issues, check the submitting a ticket sticky and have a go at that.
should I post the results here? Because I have no idea what they mean
Well, do you have any numbers in the hundreds?
Reminder, posting those here gives your modems ip address?.. So you should edit that out
Okay, I think I have edited the right bits out
This is what I got

I believe there is packet loss at several points, that could definitely be causing some latency.
Lol you did edit out too much as I can’t tell what is what though, usually the first 2 are your personal numbers. Any place you see a percentage other than zero is packet loss which means stuff isn’t getting through.
What kind of connection are you on? (is it your personal home connection or are you at university or public connection)
As a test, also, try disabling any antivirus software and personal firewalls and run the test again.
I will edit the stuff back in
This is a home connection and I will try disabling my antivirus and firewalls
FYI, you may still need to file a ticket for this, I am just hoping to try and help you now, but I may not be able to either. Unless a dev sees your troubles and asks for a shiny log file to help you. ;p
Issue Resolved, I just wanted to make a massive thank you for arena net! I received some amazing support 10/10 anet
What fixed your issue?
Just deactivated some of my startup stuff, apparently there was another program interfering with the connection?
Woot way to go. Thanks for the update!
