While in GW2 launcher, you are supposed to enter you account name ans password. After this “Mandatory Password Change” my account name is just normal but the password keeps still showing as it was the old password, but it acts like the new password so it will let me log in.
Not big deal and I think I could fix this somehow by editing/deleting/repairing something, just don’t know what.

Bumbing this back up as this problem still exist.
What I have done so far:
Deleting “Local.dat”
Unticking those remember password and username boxes.
Would be great to get this fixed, thought as said, it shows old password but it still acts like my new password so it’s lets me log in.

Just curious how do you know that it shows the old password ? ;-)
If i remember correctly it shows a fixed number of stars ( * ) in the place of your remembered password ;-) (can’t check it now cause i’m not at home)

It DOES show it by these ( * ) .
But as my new password is longer than my old one I can clearly count the ( * ) markers there.
Or do you mean it ALWAYS shows it as like, let’s say 5 ( * ) ? IF this is the case then it works as it should and this topic can be closed…
