Guild Wars 2

Hey guys,
So I don’t remember when this all started, but for awhile now I’ve had issues with the launcher remembering my password, it just refuses to. I have the box checked to actually remember it, but it won’t. How can I fix this?

Check the box to remember your account name and password, then uncheck them and close the launcher. Open the launcher again, check both boxes, put in your info and login. Test it.

If that doesn’t work, delete the file %appdata%/Guild Wars 2/Local.dat and Documents/Guild Wars 2/Local.dat. You’ll need to redo your video/sound settings after deleting these files.

Did both options, none of them worked. I deleted the Local.dat file in the app data folder, but it didn’t exist in my documents.

Are you positive it does not remember your password? It will never show any more than the six asterisks in the password field (saved or not). Have you tried just hitting ‘Log In’?
