Guild Wars 2

I just used the GW2 website to link both my accounts, hoping that my GW2 email would become the only email I need to login both games, as well as changing my GW1 account name to my email name with @ ncsoft
Yet in the NCsoft website the same GW1 email is displayed and I have to use it to login there, plus emails go there. To state the obvious that’s the opposite of what I want.
I also got the impression, from forum members, that linking them will result in the link I wanted to make between the accounts.
I cannot change my email from NCsoft because it says I can’t use a email which is already used… And my GW2 account is saying that my accounts are linked, and that I will only need to use my GW2 account for both games.

Also, it seems now I can’t even login GW1 with any combination I try to do. I have already reset my password.

Basically I wanna be able to log into the game + have only 1 email for 2 accounts, as well as account name

I’m not quite sure I follow. Because after linking your accounts, you should be able to log into gw1 using your email and password that you use for gw2.

What emails go to your ncsoft account? Or is that the address you used for gw2?

It might be a good idea to submit a ticket and get some help from support to sort this out.

You can not link or associate your GW2 account email address to your NCSoft account. The only way to change a GW2 account email address is through Customer Support here at GW2. Once you created your GW2 account and associated an email address with it, linking GW1 to GW2 should have changed the Account Name for GW1 to the email address associated with GW2. You can’t change anything from the NCSoft Master account once the games are linked.

Basically, I had a trial acc in GW1. I upgraded it, then linked it. Now I can’t login GW1.
In GW1 my email and user account name were different.
Can I link my GW2 account email address to my NCsoft acc?
Anyway, this is really annoying, because I literally just got GW1 upgraded from trial and I can’t even play it. I already sent a ticket but I thought, maybe the solution is under my nose?…

I can login the NCsoft acc using my ‘old’ email, but how do I check the account name? it says now, that it’s the old email. however, in-game nothing works.

It’s still not really clear to me. Why do you need the NCsoft account?

But again, you should be able to log into GW1 with your GW2 account name (email) and your GW2 Password. I can’t make out if you tried that yet.

Also, have you sent in a ticket yet?

Chose a random name for a character while on trial and just remembered, worked with the new email+pass. Thanks.
