Linked Guildwars 1&2 accounts but no rewards

Ive checked my character name on the Hall of Monuments calculator and it says that I am due for rewards, ive linked the my guild wars 1 account with guild wars 2 and none of my characters received the Hall of monuments portal. I bought one from lions arch and went to see the merchant inside and cannot see any gear.
In My Account in the linked accounts tab it says my account has been linked.
Not sure what to do now…

This has worked for some people: Enter your Hall of Monuments in GW1. Speak to Kimmes the Historian, and change your Hall from Account-wide to Character-wide, or vice versa. Once you have done that, enter the Hall of Monuments in GW2 and speak to Kimmes, once again. Your rewards should now be available. Good luck. =)

My personal experience found it a tad touchy. For myself, after linking accounts and checking the HOM in GW2, I had to log in to GW1, go to the HOM, and shuffle my reward banners etc around repeatedly until I was pretty sure they had all appeared. This can be a bind for the miniatures, and will take you quite a bit of time (I still have not had them all credited, which I have accepted and moved on). I only came to that solution, after noticing I was not getting everything on the calculator, and after sending in a ticket was unable to help. Hope that helps.

Are you a UK player by any chance?
My friend had 2 NCSoft accounts because she played the EU client for Guild Wars and later went on to play Aion but created another account to do so (it was a few years later so she didn’t realise). Anyway when she started playing Guild Wars 2 she accidentally linked her new US NCsoft account instead of the old UK one.
