Why are we unable to link accounts with separate email addresses? I completely forgot that my GW1 account was set to a different email, and there’s no option for inputting an email different from the one set. What kinda silliness is that?

Ah no wonder it doesn’t work for me lawl.
For me my GW1 and GW2 are on different emails too and when I put in GW1 info to link them it simply says accountname/email not used for an account or I get that nice XML error.

edit :also on XML error when you close browser then reopen go back to guildwars2.com you are logged in with the email you put in the link accounts box.

Bumping. Is there any way at all to fix this? I’d love to go back to GW1 to earn some HoM stuff, but it’s kinda worthless to do so if it won’t link to my GW2 account..
