As the topic suggests, loading screen freezes (always).

To counter the issue, I do the following:
ctrl+alt+del to select task manager (cannot return to desktop any other way)
close task manager and see gw2 is flashing on start bar
click gw2, return to game and play.

It is not a pressing matter but I have to do this every time I login or change maps, so it started to get annoying. Any idea on how to fix this?

Note: I recently upgraded to Windows 10.

Let me guess .. you have an NVidia GPU ?

EVERY MMO is awesome until it is released then its unfinished. A month after release it just sucks.
Best MMOs are the ones that never make it. Therefore Stargate Online wins.

GTX 860M. You say it is because of the graphics card? Because I also started to experience texture problems (some textures show only blue/green patterned colors).

Mostly a driver problem. Download the newest drivers, if you already have them
or they make problems try older.

Standard NVidia problem, that why i use ATI / AMD cards.

Thanks, will try reinstalling the drivers or try old ones.
I’ll post the result here.

I’ve had this same issue since I got a new laptop with a 970M in it. If your display is set to Full Screen, try changing it to Windowed Fullscreen. That prevents the loading freeze for me.
