Guild Wars 2

My game won’t load beyond the loading screen after character select. It finishes the little loading circle widget on the bottom right corner, but the screen just stays as it was. I cannot minimize the game through alt-tab or the windows key, so every time I load I have to ctrl-del and then switch windows.

I too have the same problem.
It takes around 2-3 min to complete the loading which can easily be mistaken as freezing.
My machine is a brand new machine and can crunch through lot of new games.
Only GW2 has this issue

I am having issues after logging in, I stay on the loading screen forever and the little circle in the bottom right corner either freezes up or just goes away. I have to ctrl, alt, delt every time I log in or way point to another place. I also am having issues with graphics. In certain places the ground will turn green and blue, or there will be green and blue patches in the sky, or animals will be the same way. I can then change my choices from whatever it is on to auto-detect and it will fix the issue. The same with water, whenever I am near water the graphics are not right so I change the textures to either high or low and it will fix the issue. I have to do this pretty much everywhere I go in gw2. Please help! Anyone else having issues like these?

I also have loading screen and in game freezing where the installer or the game becomes unresponsive. I can’t alt-tab etc from the game a require a hard restart to get my ystem running again
