Loading slow
Bump. Anyone knows?
Have you tried reseating your video card?
Till now i’ve tried like this:
-defragmenting
-rollback GPU driver
-a complete reinstall
-tried to install an older driver, since this problem started from the previous 2-3 drivers, and still no difference
Add an exclusion for gw2.dat to your AV’s realtime scanner.
Check to make sure some other app isn’t sucking down CPU %.
This has very little to do with your graphics card.

Well, few months ago didnt happened this. This started after the last 2-3 driver updates. Problem is that this doesnt happens only in this game, it happens on all games and i need a solution to fix this for all games too. Even the depth of field is affected, not to say that this affects my AA too. Even tried to max everything from the panel and no difference.
Is it a loading problem or a frame rate problem. Again the graphics card doesn’t really affect loading times by all that much so any of those graphic settings really isn’t going to make any of difference.
Now if it’s a framerate problem I would suggest downloading GPU-Z and double check that the PCIe bus width is x16 and PCIe V2.0.

1. Well, dunno how to tell, it’s like i change the map, then i go in another map but some things are missing for a few seconds, sometimes even my char cant move for few seconds, then all loads after and works fine. Probably from HDD can be this problem? it’s a 1 TB HDD and when i’ve read and asked about this, i was told it is possible.
2. And about the slow detailed objects from distance and the AA problem, the non linear edge of some objects. Dunno from what could be, and here are at all games, i dunno what is it, field of view, depth of field, other type of AAs that were affected. And i think that what caused this, caused the slow loading too.
So you say is not from GPU, maybe the slow loading is from CPU or HDD, but the second problem, the AA one, i dunno from what could be (tried driver rollback, a complete reinstall, tried even to max all from panel, no difference, no fix).

If when you change maps textures are taking a while to show up, that is going to either be your Internet connection or your HDD’s access time.
To test your internet, once you hit a map that does that ‘delay’ load crap, do a /ip in game, then open a command prompt window and do ‘tracert x.×.×.x’ where the x.×.×.x is the IP address from the /ip Command, and paste the output from here.
To test your HDD (since its read base), download HDTune (Google search) and run a simple Benchmark. What you are looking for is the min/max/average read, and access time/latency. Again post those results to this thread too.

^My internet is good, i’ll try the HDD test. This for the 1st part.
Now the 2nd part with the AA/field of view/depth of field, some of this 3 problems. Now this i need more a possible fix.

until you do what I suggested with the tracert, you CANNOT be certain your internet isn’t part of the issue.
