I normally don’t complain about anything, but I have to say my patience is really getting thin. I have played the game since the beta with over 400 hours of game time as well playing the first guild wars for 7 years. I just can’t believe how much of a run around I have gotten with support telling different things.

Here is my issue. I stopped playing to take a break about 5 months ago. I got new computer and just reinstalled the game last week.

I can sign into website but not the Game. It will not let me recover the account, when I choose recover account. BUT I am already signed into my account! I just can’t get into the game in the CLIENT. My purchase was made online. I reset my password numerous times. I submitted a ticket.

Each support person I have dealt with on this has had me do something different sending me back and forth between this site and ncsoft’s main support site. As a result the tickets now have expanded to 4, with no resolution. It seems no one reads what you write!

I have not been able to get into my game for a week. Can someone PLEASE HELP ME!

Check what your security options are set as. Clear the known networks. Check to see if your email account is still correct for email validation.

You may also want to post the Ticket numbers here, so if Gaile sees it, she can check the status.

I have Norton and have never had any security issues with network. I have other games running as well with no issues.Ticket Numbers on this site are 137638, 139822 and on ncsoft support site 23500, 24089 …

Ziplock, I mean the Account Security settings. At the top, click “My account” and then “Security” along the left hand side. You may have email notification turned ON, yet the notices going to a now invalid email account.

Also, this needs to be moved to the Account issues forum if you are not having a technical issue starting the client (it does not appear that your issue).

Here are a few common issues I have seen many times in dealing with log in issues:

  1. Make SURE you are typing in the email address associated with your account in the login box (NOT your account name).
  2. Uncheck both the “remember ID / PW” boxes below the log in fields, EXIT the Client, start it again and manually type in EMAIL address and password (you should be able to recheck the boxes AFTER you get logged in for the first time).
