You will have to maintain your dialog with support. Another option if you feel your ticket isn’t getting the response you need is to post your ticket number in the ticket for review thread.
My husband is in the same boat but he has not received any contact from support yet. I understand they currently have a high volume of tickets but a week out and still no response is a bit much in my book.
Only the CS Team can help you get into a ‘locked’ account. You will need to continue discussing the issue with the Team.
Make sure your email account has not been compromised, or create a new, unique email account and use that to correspond with the Team.

Hi folks. Thanks for the replies. Doesnt look like i will be getting on anytime soon and im not the only one in this boat. Ive even sent them the proof od receipt and once again got a reply asking for details…
I would send them the receipt, the last 4 digits of the CC used to purchase, your character name or names, full legal name and name on the CC, your display name, and possibly a snap of your bank statement with the account and routing info blacked out. If that doesnt work I dont think anything will because its all proof you need to verify the original account holder.
It sounds like the support is working you in a loop like you said and its unfair to you as a consumer because they are denying you the right to access something you have legally purchased.

Again, you can always post your ticket number for review with details of your problem if you feel you are not getting the results you want. That thread isn’t just for tickets that have not been addressed. Here is a quote from the thread description.

You can’t discount the slim possibility that your email account is compromised, and that the replies you are getting are not from the CS Team.
Or that the ‘hacker’ has all the same information you do, as they got it from your compromised email account.

Scan your computer for virus/malware/key loggers
Then change the password for the email account associated with your GW2 Account
Then change your GW2 password
Then contact support and tell them your account may have been compromised.
Then change the password for the email account associated with your GW2 Account
