LockedRect.pBits crash
I haven’t seen anyone else with this error myself yet, but I had it a few times in WvW typically when involved with a giant Zerg on Zerg clash against the green team. And I only got this one after the anti-culling update. I’ve only ever had one dstbits crash as well, but again it was after the mar 26th update and in WvW against green. Haven’t had these anywhere else.
Same error I have, only in WvW as well.

You can add me to the “me too” on this bug.. the game works flawlessly .. except in WvW when there are massive zergs .. I get this same error.. :-(
my specs are
27-inch, Late 2012
Processor 3.4 GHz Intel Core i7
Memory 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
Graphics NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680MX 2048 MB
Software OS X 10.8.3 (12D78)
me too, i encounter the same error as well.. and i have the same specs with Feydiir.2609
Yes I made a post about the same WvW crash.
It’s since the culling update.
This only happens when Anti-Aliasing is enabled. Seems fine with having it disabled but unfortunately, dstBits remains the same.
support is having me try lowering the “WvW Character Limit” .. HIGH and MEDIUM currently crash for me .. trying LOW now.
Thank you again, looking forward to the next update!
Was there any resolution to this issue? I am also seeing it happen, initially it was WvW Zergs as per the the original OP but now its all the time. Its incredibly frustrating and its making the game a total pain to play.
Mid2011 iMac, 3.4ghz i7,16gb mem and Radeon 6970M 2GB Latest OS
I have the exact same machine as Shots, with the exception of 8 GB ram. This happens consistently every time I enter combat with any other players. any form of play other than true solo does not even seem possible now.
I would guess that this is related to the new efforts to reduce the graphics in combat. I have had this crash 5 times in less than an hour between this and the dstbits errors.
EDIT
Reducing the settings to best performance does seem to have alleviated the issue, but I have never seen guildwars 2 look so bad.

I honestly haven’t seen this around in a bit. And the previous “fix” came when anet patched the culling update.
What resolution are you guys running at?
As a starter, you could try these steps and go from there:
I read the other thread and saw one of you doing repairs and disk permissions, but maybe the rest could help.
Post back and let me know the resolution you play at and if any of the troubleshooting steps worked for you.
Since I made this thread I have been running with graphics all the way down and have not crashed once in months
