I’m having issues logging in… I keep getting a failed to connect to servers error, and the few times I’m able to get into my character select screen, it fails to load in to the game stating the same “failed to connect to servers” error. Either I get the error OR it just loads forever and never actually does anything. I wasn’t having this issue until today, and it’s a minor annoyance, I don’t believe it’s on my end as my internet connection is stable and I pinged the ip and have no packet loss or anything of the sort.

Now it’s not even showing me the error message but instead is just loading and loading until I have to force-quit the program.

I’m having the same problems. I’ve tried all recomended solutions I’ve come across. It’s not my intenet or firewall or anything else on my end I can find

I am getting this code, Error Code: 42:0:9001:4418

I cant figure it out, some people have said they had to uninstall other games to make it work but i would rather avoid that

Same issue here, glad I’m not the only one. Seems to have just started today.

yep, same. is this punishment for not being free-to-play?

I doubt it’s punishment… as many have said, it’s most likely a result of the servers being overloaded, and ANet maybe not anticipating the size of the surge in users the F2P announcement brought in.

Agreed, having log in issues, from not even being able to log in, to being stuck on the loading screen when switching areas and/or loading into a PVP game and then getting “could not connect to log in server”

I would assume its because of the recent surge of f2p accounts, but this is coming irritating

Lots of people blaming f2p is there a place to see the increase before issue guessing. It is more indicative of the Anet of everything just the basic is provided for this to work. Not looking at the expansion myself!

Not a single response or acknowledgement and it’s been days and hundreds of replies to multiple posts, besides people who claim it’s your ISP or your imagination.

Today is just as bad or worse, PVP is unplayable, because I can’t stay logged in long enough to queue.

I got a response from my support ticket, they acknowledged the increase in error codes in the last week ( I wasn’t having major latency issues so hadn’t submitted for that) and are requesting various information and tests from me.

same here thats why im quitting =\ even when u log in u cant pvp or anything cuz of connection errors to the server

I am also having login issues for the past few days. It works if I login at non-peak hours. i.e. early hours of the morning.

I tried to play beta and i was able to play 1 pvp match and suddenly i got a dc saying cant access login server and now cant even get to the account+pw screen. Would have liked to play the beta.

Send in a support ticket guys… the tech team will probably want information that will help them pin-point the issue. In the mean time, patience I know it can be difficult. My issues seem to have resolved on their own… One thing I was asked to try was to make sure that my system clock was up to date and synchronised.

Having the same issue after d/cing from a Stronghold match.

Same here. ever since they started the free-to-play and the game is not playable at all. facing massive lag spikes, Game keeps Disconnecting if am doing intense activity like fractals, if I login the game takes forever to load. I hope they start to address these issues, so far I dont see any acknowledgment from their side about facing such issues
