I know this sounds dumb but did you have the Caps Lock on?

Thanks Sphecida, I will have someone take a look at this now.
To make sure it is not adding to any confusion, Support has a separate account/password system from the game. So having that tell you your game password is incorrect when you login is normal (unless you made a support account and gave it the same password, which I would not recommend).

Matt, thanks so much for directing my issue to support. I am working with someone now to resolve it.
Tanek, I know it’s separate, but I’m still unable to login to support despite having the correct username and email. So, two different login issues. Lucky me!
Has anyone else had issues with either a new PC or Windows 8? I never had any trouble on my old Windows 7 PC.
Just joining in here, as I’ve had this happen to me today. Was playing fine last night, and today the password is not valid (GW1 reports this).
I don’t know at this point if it was connected (but I STRONGLY suspect it), but my NCSoft Master Account also appears to have been compromised, despite the fact I haven’t even used it in over 12 months. Also one of my GW1 accounts has also had it’s password changed and was accessed 10 hours ago (when I was in work).
I’ve reported the hack to support, I’m just praying that the authenticator on my account stopped them accessing my GW2 account.
I really wish there was some way of deleting my NCSoft account.
And it now appears that somehow they managed to bypass the authenticator on the account as well, as a guild member has informed me, that apparently I left the guild 10 hours ago, when I was actually in work.

My issue was resolved, and it was my (stupid) error. But happily, I can access my account. Support was very patient with me.

Yes same thing here and I have no clue what to do to fix it and it is annoying me to hell because I have already changed my password over 5 times and it still has the same message and I just want to play the game.
